Default Allamuchy Ice Report

Took a couple of friends out today. Slow slow day. Missed a bunch of hits on the tip ups. Landed two nice bass around noon to 2pm. That was it. Went to a different lake from 1 to 4pm. Not a single strike even though we saw action at 20ft on the sonar. We gave it all we had. Medium shinners, mousies, swedish pimples , CLAM plastics. Nothing! Blaming it on the weather front.
Let us know how you guys did out there today...

Thumbs up Re: Allamuchy Ice Report

Definitely slow depending what you fished for. I know a few guys that did good fishing for Perch and Crappie here and there. Seems like bigger fish didn’t want to cooperate this weekend. I did lose a huge Rainbow at the hole Saturday morning. Oh well! Glad you guys found a few fish and enjoyed the day.

If that is the place i think it is i fished there with my friend kevin and the only fish we got that day was a nice bass. the lake has some deep water by where you get on. we fished to the right and toward the back there was a guy jigging near the back and he was getting small sunnies on jigs. the bass you have in the photo is a good one well done. I got out before the snow and picked away at perch crappies and sunnies on the cong but with this snow things are going to get interesting as the lake is freezing in sections you defiantly have to use a spud bar and check any ice you have not fished on before the snow fell. good rule of thumb if the snow is wet don't go there as the ice might only be a couple of inches thick. be safe.
