Default trout and walleye

Still targeting mostly wild trout in PA and NJ. Today Hookmanski and Nick joined in. Not a surprise that hookmanski breaks the ice with a brownie. Actually he has consistently caught the first every trout trip, even when we arent fishing for trout he'll randomly catch the first trout! LOL

We move onto another spot then start catching a bunch of more browns, some nice ones and cool takes. Just consistent action for a 40F overcast day.

Lakers earlier, they were good fun as always.

Nick and I also took the canoe out on a whim for 2 hours to try for walleye. caught 10 small ones on jigs. Nothing close to a limit size but super exciting for a first-time-try at targeting walleye. We're hooked on the waldos, so more to come... :]

oh and Nick caught one on an ice rod and inline reel

Fun weekend with a little bit of everything. The hot dog sized walleye were fun. Not bad for randomly deciding to pull off the road!

Beautiful catches all around! Those little walleye are cool looking, and those trout are stunning. Great work!

Haha I don't know how I feel about the inline reel. I miss the sound of the drag screaming off the reel.

I can't grow a decent beard so your wolverine status is safe
