Default Obsession Fluking

Me, Brother Joe, Sven and Jarhead took a prey good ride and tried some fluking yesterday. Joe had his limit and I think, Art and Tim each had one or 2 keepers each and a few Seabass and Ling... As for me, lets just say I was there.

Tough bite for sure... Seems like we had plenty of bites but they just wouldn’t commit to the bait.

Thanks for the report Gerry. They have been on and off like a light switch for me this year.

Nice going boys. Same for us on Thursday Gerry the bite was tough . Had to do the dance even with the larger fish for what seemed like 5 minutes or longer. Hope you all have a happy 4th

You’d get whacked pretty hard and get a head shake or two and they’d spit it and come back once or twice but not take the hook.

We were using 9/0 long shank hooks that come out where the body of the 6 inch grub meets the curly tail... Not sure an assist would have helped...
