![]() headed to assunpink at 6:00 am, fished till 2, missed one nice bass on a topwater (all missed fish are huge, right?) still learning the freshwater, saw a few kayaks working an area but didnt want to crowd them. Talked to them at the launch and they gave me some great tips....Thanks!!
to nice to go home so i hit Farrington on the way home, hoping to catch maybe a crappie or two. Got this rainbow and i think pike? at first i thought it was a pickerel until i got it to the boat and noticed the different markings. Both on ultra lite tackle. Going back to assunpink tomorrow with some of the tips i picked up today. i hope the attachments work. |

![]() This guyyy! Casually posting the elusive Farrington pike and a rainbow to boot. Nice work man. They stock a good number of pike in farrington year after year but I very rarely see them let alone catch one despite hitting the "hot spots" there for them. Awesome work from the yak.

![]() Regardless of the stockings of pike in there, that's a goddamn mythical creature in that lake lol... Congrats.

![]() we used to fish below the dam at Farrington for trout, was pretty good there, not sure if they still stock there. Also by the old railroad trestle was good for trout, that was a long time ago, wonder if the trestle rements are still there
