![]() Is the trevela tvc 50-100 MH jigging rod with an Avet jx 2 speed raptor enough rod and reel for catching most bft off the jersey coast?

![]() That Avet JX is up for the task, especially since it's a Raptor. I would however make sure there is braid on it so you have more line capacity... Metered braid works well jigging since its marked in colors so when you see fish on the fish finder you'll know how much line to put out to be in the target zone.
Not sure about your Trevela since I'm not familiar with that specific rod but I would assume so since it's MH... I've jigged a few times with the Shimano Butterfly set up and that rod looked like something you would Bass fish with... Good luck and thanks for the distraction....
