Default PA stuff

Did some trout fishing in PA. So far checked out four rivers.
Seems like we did better on the warmer days and nearly skunked on the days were conditions were cooling and cloudy.

It turns out black marabou jigs are a staple to these PA trouts.
Nick couldn't help himself with the jerkbaits tho. Guess those work too

All browns, two stockie dink rainbows, and one healthier rainbow that I lost right before the net.
Also a smb, which would be a personal record for coldest smb Ive caught, never caught one before April I believe.
Damn good fight for being cold too. I love smb.

Longest was third pic, just under 21 inches. Although 1st was probably heaviest.

Thumbs up Re: PA stuff

Everyone is leaving NJ to catch the Pennsyltucky trouser Trout? That’s ok by me! Haha! You have lots of options right across the border. I haven’t had my PA license in over 10 years. Great catching at a great place for Trout! Well done! They are pretty Browns for sure!

Thanks ed, im glad I finally did some exploring outside the state. So far im impressed. I like how some of the bigger waters still hold wild trout. I still love trout fishing in jersey, ill have to do more fishing, into spring, in PA to really compare it
