Default Rock bottom Sunday fluke

8/18 fluke
Today we had a great group of guys out.
Fishing started off decent in the morning and got slower as the day went on. Wound up with 16 keepers with some seabass and ling. Jeff was HH today with 5 keeps and 3 of his keepers were between 5-7 pounds. Han and George had 4 keepers and Pete had 3.
Guys fished hard all day the bite just slowed up on us.

First off have to give credit to Ron and Stephanie for running a great operation and putting us on the fish as always, BTW Steph you can do 5 things Really well -

Just like most of the others trips morning start off strong than slows up in the afternoon. Crazy drifts and changing gulp and bait all day to see what works

Salmon, White Glow, Fire Tiger and Pink Shine gulp did the best but most all different colors worked throughout the day and caught fish. Fished with 2 to 4oz glow and pink spros and made my donation to the fishy gods Larry Hart attack I feel your pain my friend. The other guys going from 2 to 6 oz colored jig heads and then some switching to chicken rigs at the end of the day. The bigger fish were not attacking or really chomping more like laying on the bait and just sitting almost felt like a snag until you set the hook or the rocks in my case. The smaller fish " which were quality shorts" really fought and bit aggressively

Jeff and Han great meeting you guys and fishing with you , Jeff you were on fire catching quality and quality , Han you are pretty funny and see you in 2 weeks nice catching

Steve and Joe all I got to say is Joe caught more fish and no matter what love ya Steve , lots of laffs and how did the wacky quacky do ? Music trivia all day and we dont need the internet when we have you -

Pete always a blast and Joe was there to take the pressure off of Ronnie

When the pressure was put on ( thanks for the help Ron ) I fell apart like wet tissue paper , it was very humbling and pissed wait tell next week

Ron Stephanie and crew till next weeks episode and yes pepperoni is a lunch meat -

Laff often , Dont Fish angry and Fish On

GDubs-
