Default Fog

Left Monmouth Cove around 7:00 this morning. Wow, hit a fog bank that was so thick. Thank Raymarine for radar. otherwise. ran down by the rocks. everything is 15 inches. tried some deeper water but still shorts and a ling. I'll be back out in the morning to try again.

We left Monmouth Cove about 8, hit that fog bank, putted along a bit in the fog until the fog cleared to the tip of the hook. We ran out to the tip and then back into the fog bank to fish inside the 13 can. We drifted for fluke for about 3 hours with continual resets. The fog would come and go.

Live lining killies on the wonder rig, quite the non-stop action with short fluke -- we lost count! 3 sea robins and one doggie, but toward the end of the 3 hours we finally boated 2 keeper fluke @18".

A small pod of dolphin came right by the boat at one point.

When we left the fish biting due to a commitment, I counted 20 other boats fishing there.

Say hello if you see the "Summer Kraut".
