Default Rock bottom weekend reports

We had another solid weekend of seabass fishing with trips Saturday through Monday and no luck with the bass.

Sat 6/1/19 Seabass report

A little tougher of a day, had to bounce around. We had a lot of shorts, but the keepers we had were quality keepers. Managed to get 70 keeper seabass, a handful of ling and a whiting.

Sun 6/2/19 seabass report
Picky morning for us. Shorts were out numbering the keepers, had to bounce around. Guys stuck with it and ended up on a good bite. Wound up with out boat limit of seabass and 42 ling.

Mon 06/03/2019 seabass report
Had Todd and his crew out. They wanted to try for some striped bass first, warned them that it was slow, but still gave it a try for a while. Found some bunker no takers and then trolled for a while. We then decided to go seabassing after trying for striped bass and the guys were able to get the boat limit.

Nice work Capt Ron. Glad to see you are off to such a successful start to the season. If you haven't fished with Capt Ron and crew on the Rockbottom yet put it on your list. You wont be disappointed. Great boat and work ethic, all day effort always.

See you soon Ron for Fluke Tourney season!
