![]() Finally got some time to hit the saltwater! Went out this morning in search of blues. Drove down the shore with my girlfriend and roommates, while they laid on the sand I hit the water! Got there around 11 and it was DEAD. Everyone I talked to wasn’t catching and most people said they were going to give up soon.
I’m glad I didn’t though! Managed a few blues on a deadly dick in the 3-5 pound range. Fought like hell and was a blast. I also lost an additional three and some some bugs gators/racers but couldn’t get them to commit to anything. First fish came around 11:30, then there was a lull until about 2:30 when I caught the second and lost the other three. Saw some larger ones take swipes and miss my lure too. I threw SPs, swim shads, kastmasters, but only the lure getting any hits was the deadly dick. Hope you all got some time to fish on this beautiful weekend!
