![]() Plan was to hit up the Cbass.
Started off at SHR and had slim pickings on the rock piles in 50 fow Moved off to the Rattlesnake and again picked at shorts. Moved north to Scotland and found a better bite in the 60-70 fow water range And picked away at bass and some ling a dings. Wasn’t the drop and reel I expected today but good bite nonetheless. Didn’t drop the hook all day as conditions were perfect for a slow drift. Squid and clams on the hooks with squid taking the majority of the keepers. Surface temps at 58-60 and sinkers felt ice cold coming up from the bottom. SE came up at 2pm and took a little beating coming in. Lotta bunker spread from Belford to port Monmouth.

![]() Cool. When I used to boat out of Manasquan we always ran SE regardless knowing the sea breeze and white caps would kick up in the afternoon during the spring and summer. Fall was a different story with a constant Westerly breeze.
