![]() This morning, we caught some nice sized blues right away on the incoming tide for about an hour. It then died out for a while and then we started catching them again on the incoming tide. When we lost the tide, we continued to pick later in the day but when the tied changed the fishing dried up. Both plain and tailed jigs, along with poppers, worked best today. The blues averaged 12 lbs. We will head back up north for the stripers tomorrow if the blues aren’t around. Our pool winner was Nick Monopoli from Brick, NJ.
Sailing daily for stripers from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and then for the blues when they come in, weather permitting. The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why. ![]() Pool winner Nick Monopoli. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() I saw boats doing this last year as well....including one from Brielle. Boat leaves dock and 90 seconds later, it’s lines in the water. The whole objective is to catch fish. I’d rather that...than a 2 hour ride to get skunked.
Still seems strange to shell out money on something that I can do for free from the bulkhead a few feet away. |

![]() Party boats have been doing this for as long as I can remember during the spring bluefish run, going back into the 80's!!! What's wrong with captains trying to put their fares on fish? Now we're going to regulate where they fish? Jesus get a life.

![]() Who is proposing “regulating” where party boats fish? Perhaps there are invisible posts on here. Or more likely, perhaps you need to switch to decaf.
