Miss Belmar - JUMBO STRIPERS!
Today, we picked away at the stripers, and at times had shots. We fished in the bunkers all day long and there were plenty of fish in with the bunker. At times, we would get a couple on, and at times we would be waiting to hook up again. One patron had 3 stripers over 30 lbs, only keeping 2. Every fish we caught today was over 30 lbs; 3 were over 40 lbs, with one weighing in at a whopping 52 lbs! There are a lot of big fish in the area from Fire Island to us so the fishing should only continue to get better from here on out. Our pool winner was Dennis Newcombe from Wall, NJ.
Due to the weather, tomorrow’s trip, Friday, November 2nd, has been cancelled. We will resume our normal schedule for stripers and blues on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, at 7:30 a.m. We are sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for stripers and blues. The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why.
