Early morning Jog and Nice Local Bass

Went for an early run this morning at a park near my house in Cranford. As a reward to myself for finally getting some much needed exercise I decided to take a few casts before heading home to get ready for work. Second cast with a wacky green pumpkin senko and I landed this nice specimen. 18” and just shy of 4 lbs (which for this Union County duckpond is a very respectabl largemouth). A guy driving by when I caught the fish actually pulled over to chat and was kind enough to snap a pic for me. Fish was released strong and healthy.
