![]() Just wondering if anyone had any info they would like to share on the area around Whiteface NY. We are going up in a couple of weeks. Bringing the fly rods for the rivers and spinning for the lakes. Would like to target the Lakers, Bows and Brookies in the lakes. Did a bunch of research already just checking if anyone else has been up there.

![]() Went up there a few years ago and fished the Ausable River.
Lots of trout. It was in June and I got destroyed by black flies, to the point I had blood dripping down my face, call ahead. |

![]() Ausable is great have been fishing there for 25 years. Black flies are gone now. plenty of shore access and if you have a canoe or kayak try lake Everest in wilmington. Up a creek restaurant in wilmington is great for breakfast and lunch, and you gota try the white brook dairy bar.

![]() I saw Lake Everest it looks like a dammed section of the river. Didn't think it was worth it but I may need to check it out. We are bringing a canoe and kayaks. What would you fish for in there ? Trout or Smallies
