![]() Some of you might be familiar with Manny's Pond in Hunterdon County. It's a small warm water pond that gets stocked with trout in the spring. It also has a catch and release setup for bass. So Saturday July 21st I was in the area so decided to try a few casts for bass. I was shocked when I saw this guy in the small stream that feeds this pond. If you look right below the green bush and above the the two submerged rocks you can spot him. I would have bet a million dollars all the trout were LONG gone ! The will to survive can be amazing!

![]() Life finds a way. No doubt that those streams in hunterdon county arent suitable enough for trout. Maybe theres some wild ones taking residence upstream.
