Where are the Blues?
What happened to the yearly big bluefish invasion in the raritan bay this spring? Haven't really seen any reports on that. Was out a couple weeks ago and got skunked trolling for stripers and not a touch from any blues either. Thought (hoped!) I'd have a good report to post back then, but had nothing. Hoping to head out tomorrow, and hoping to catch some stripers but if they don't show the bluefish usually save the day. Anyone getting any bigger blues there in the past week?

The party boats are catching blues in the ocean, not along the shore.

Seems to be they run in cycles. A few years on a few years off. They been scarce in Barnegat bay so far, at least compared to the past 3 years. There are some small ones around. Hope you find them.
