easter weekend mixed bag

hit the cong with a friend today. we took his boat out for the first trip this spring and had a decent day. the boat ran well and we caught some fish as well. we hit a bunch of spots and managed to catch 2 crappies 3 slime darts 1 nice chunky lmb 2 perch and 3 sunnies. the fishing was spotty. the wind was blowing out on the main lake so we had to take refuge in the coves. we fished with shinners, jig-n-bobbers, and an x-rap.i caught this slime dart on a fin-s jig that had a crappie that was about 5" in its belly i could tell it was a crappie by the tail that was sticking out of its throat, maybe that is why the crappies were not in the same spot i got them earlier. all-n-all a good day to be out there. hope you folks have the chance to get out on the water this easter weekend. we are going to try again sunday. happy easter to you all.
