First iced Pike

After keeping a close eye on things all week I snuck out today for the first trip out this year fishing. Ice didn't make as much as I thought it would have last night..... Spudded my way out on 2" and iced my first few Pike of the season had them up to 32" ish and a big snot rocket 24" overall the action was pretty slow. I was swinging for the fences with some big baits but no love.

Bwahahahahahaaha!!! That’s a nice plump Pike from the Pike aquarium! Yea BUDDY! Sorry I couldn’t be there standing next to you on that solid 2 inches of hardwater! LOL! And so it begins! Let the good times roll MANIACS!!!

Awsome! Congrats dude. I also had a great day out got a 4-5 lb bass, small pickerel and a ton of perch. Ice was very thin (2. To 2-1/2) where I was. Be careful out there guys.

nice! yeah what's up with the ice making...i checked some places and places that were 2" before that big time cold snap only gained about a half inch in a few days!? I couldn't believe it, what is happening?....and now everything is melting haha
