Down Deep - 11/13 Striper decimation

[Down Deep Sportfishing]

Today aboard the Down Deep we ran another 6 am Striper trip for Ken and friends. The crew went to work and in short order put all 3 class sizes on ice. Everyone got what they came for with action from start to finish and were all done by the noon hour sore with many more released to fight another day. Another flat out epic beatdown. ***** Due to outstanding Striped Bass fishing, we will be sailing both our 1 - 15 passenger Downeast platforms for Striped Bass daily until Blackfish opens on Nov. 16. decimation is a good word for whats going on out there. "Decimation, slaughter, beat down, smack down" all good words when it looks like the Normandy invasion out there with 20 million guys catching, killing and keeping bass. Up and down the east coast, these fish dont stand a chance. But the rec guys have no impact right?


just my opinion, and I already know I'm gonna get slaughtered myself for it.

Its your opinion. But when each man is allowed up to 3 fish a day, the amount that goes back to fight another day could be up to 30x that amount. Rod and reel will never harm a fishery.
