Re: Natirar:
I doubt it, and personally dont think it's worth stocking that small portion. I already like the fishing there already (albeit for small stuff) so adding some crowds is not ideal.
Especially for fall stocking, it's pretty skinny water up there. if every fall continues to be this dry, they'll never have the opportunity to stock them there. Spring stocking, i could see it, most of the north branch is stocked, even a nearby trib downstream, the peapack. (which has a few wilds, im not sure why they stock there directly?) This is just from my experience but the few trout ive caught in July/middle of summer in the north branch were down in the middle sections. My opinions above would be TOTALLY different if that ravine lake dam came down however. In fact, you wouldnt need to stock trout with the amount of private trout stockings upstream from around mendham and the rest of the wild trout in the upper north branch watersheds. |

Re: Natirar:
The stockies make their way up into that stretch. I've caught plenty of concrete trout there in both spring and fall. I prefer the wild browns in there, though.
