Thumbs up Millstone river 10/1/17:

Decided to give the Muddystone a look over. Put in at Manville and motored up 2.5 miles to Amwell Road, floated back down. The bottom was nicer than expected, more stone than mud, tons of blow downs. The river is shallow. Only thing I really saw were massive packs of 20 to 30 pound carp !!
As I was taking out 2 guys were launching. I asked them if they were going to fish the lower Millstone, they scoffed and said we are headed down to the Raritan river !!

I was just thinking of the dam today. How did that look?

Some deep holes where the dam once stood.

So it's ok to run a gas engine in the Millstone or Raritan?
