Prowler5 - Fri., Nov. 18, Big Tog, Good Blackfishing Continues
Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. We had a fair amount of customers today for togging. It was a beautiful mid-November Friday. Me, Marko and his son Xavier worked the trip today and headed out to where we've been fishing the last couple of days. I had the adrenalin pumping this morning. I thought that I wouldn't be able to get on where I've been fishing but I was wrong - I was able to. Just had to get my anchors a little further out. And, I was on my A game today. We had some really good Prowler customers on the boat today. Joe the wood butcher was high hook with his limit of six nice keepers. Other guys had four. Regular, Boo boo, had three nice ones and others with two. Pool fish was the biggest one so far of the year - 10-1/2 lbs. Had some beauties today. Made two drops today and had a very good bite at the end of the day to cap off the day. Hats off to Mark's son Xavier. The kid did a beautiful job working the net today and helping out. No doubt he's going to be a natural. The weather looks great for both trips tomorrow - the 7:30 and the 3:30 trips, but unfortunately, Sunday, it looks like we're going to get blown out with the 45 mph winds predicted. That sucks, because we hate to lose blackfish days. Everything was on green crabs today. Strictly going for blackfish. Same crew for tomorrow, me, Marko and Xavier. We'll see you in the A.M. 5:30 sharp and then me and Shane for the afternoon eeling trip 3:30 to 9:00. Here's some pics from today. P.S.
