Outstanding Bass Bite
Fished on a former sponsor out of Pt. Pleasant. Left 45 minutes early to get in on the bite. Made a left out of the inlet and it wasn't long before we joined a sizable fleet. Boat went 3 for 4 on the first drift and had a steady pick of fish each drift until well past noon. Slight lull then picked a few more before calling it a day.
End of the day tally was 32 bass all unders and overs with no bonus fish and 2 bluefish. I ended up going 1 for 3. Everything on live or fresh dead bunker with the exception of one bluefish on a gold croc.
