I took my tin boat to belmar Saturday, flounder fishing was good. Me and my dad caught about 30-35 in 4 hours of fishing. best was the hole right in front of the party boats. Everywhere else was just a pick. The two fish limit really sucks.

Cool Re: Retro: flounder

There are plenty of winter flounders out there but the regs just will not let us catch more than 2. Hardly worth the $ and effort. I think if they up the limit to 10 fish it would really help the local rec fishing industry. We can only hope! I miss this fishing. It was a spring ritual that kicked the season off!
