Default Hybrids on the yak

Went out on the yaks in search of the brids and the action was short and quick. Got to the spot at around 8am and soon enough we found them. Within a short amount of time I managed to land two and my dad got one. Wow can these fish fight! Definitely one the my favorite fish to catch. After that it really slowed down but still managed some crappie, largemouth, catfish and a smaller hybrid. Enjoy the pics!

Nice to see you guys got on some fish! Fighting one of them from a kayak is definitely a heart-pumping experience.

Were you marking a thermocline down there? I fished LH on tuesday for the first time since the heavy rain and it seemed to mix up the water column a bit and eliminate the thermocline in the area I was fishing. Instead of marking everything in 12-18ft, we were marking fish throughout the water column up to 35fow.

We got everything on bait. Guy next to us was using lures, I didn't see him get any.

I don't have a fish finder so I don't know about the thermocline. I plan to get one soon. I was fishing about 10ft down.
