Reel Action 6/11 Report

Was suppose to head east for sharks but with the forecast, decided to change to another day. So my mate and I heading out early for a shot at the bass. Cleared in the inlet before the rooster crowed. Found the bait 300' from the inlet, put enough in and headed north. Had the readings but couldn't find any takers. Found a 2 lb blue who liked the popper my mate threw. We headed a little further north to try out hand at fluke. In about 2 hours we had between 30-35 shorts, no keepers. Made a stop off Long Branch produced about 15 sundials, 2 short fluke and 2 sea robins. Back at again next week.
