Default Sirius XM Marine Satellite Weather

I just ordered a subscription for the Sirius XM Marine Offshore program. Starting to think it is a waste of money because I can go to bed knowing what the weather is the next day. I will wake up and have rainy, cold, cloudy and windy conditions. I have been right now for over a week but did hear we might get some clearing on Sunday.

In all seriousness is anyone else using the XM Marine hooked up to a Garmin unit and how do you like it. I have to go down later today and see if I can weed through the different functions. I want to use it mainly for sea surface temps, sea conditions and wind for offshore trips. Hopefully it will be worth the $55 per month with the XM radio.

Respectfully,

Dave
