In really wonderful condition,clean as a whistle, never been in saltwater. It was lightly used here in NY state in the Finger Lakes trolling for lakers.
No issues, operates smooth as silk, levelwind operates as new, and the reel is just clean all around and is ready to go. Its an older one with red side plates.Its a great reel, but I simply have no need for one this size.$30 shipped. Some of these older 309's have been selling for quite a bit more on ebay, especially the red ones. I would trade it for a smaller reel like a Penn 209 or a daiwa 27 or 30H, or about anything that size.Would add cash if needed..This reel is very clean and shiny and works as new, but its just too big for my needs. There may be one or two tiny pits in the chrome plating, but thats due to age, NOT salt water. Its from the early 70's, and was meticulously maintained. PM or email with interest.bob
