Sunday 8/16: Had Joe and crew from PA on for a fluke trip. Started where we caught them Saturday and had some life with a nice 20" fish coming up as well as shorts. That died after 2 drifts so we went searching. All we found was shorts and a few close ones. Fishing was horrid. Ran all over the ocean (off to some wrecks in 80', down the beach, reefs, etc.) to catch basically nothing. Nice boat ride!

Monday 8/17: Had Hurricane Dave and crew on. Definitely an improvement from Sunday's fishing. Had skates and quality fluke mixed together early when drift conditions were SLOW - but when it picked up we started picking at fluke, more shorts, but an occasional keeper. Wound up with 10 to just under 6#. Not a bad day - S wind had teeth in the afternoon!
