![]() Great topic... I use Navionics as well. It's the best!!
I also use My Radar. Not an app but I also have the NJfishing.com Fishing trip planner bookmarked http://www.njfishing.com/fishing_trip_planner.php One click to access Wind Forecasts, Tides, Tidal Directions and Marine Forecasts. The tidal directions if you fish inside are a real help when you are looking to find or avoid moving water.

![]() I use:
iNavx Navionics BoatUS TidesNearMe NOAA Now Pro My Radar My iPad is my primary navigation/GPS tool (I have a older Lowrance chartplotter/Sonar combo also). I find the iNavx to be a far better and easier tool to use rather than the chartplotter, so it's primary use for sonar. As my cabin is fully enclosed, I don't have sun glare issues with the iPad and keep it in a Lifeproof Nuud case on a RAM mount.

![]() Speaking of Navionics, one very cool feature in their app is it can talk to and synch with Navionics based chart plotters on your boat if they are Eqipped with wifi.
So this means you can use Navionics on your phone or tablet to plot routes and waypoints, get to the boat connect phone and chart plotter via wifi and put them on the chart plotter. You can also take your waypoints from the chart plotter and store them on your phone in the Navionics app.
