A storm rolls in so we decide to vacate....as I'm reeling up this line I see a fish spinning around and around.....turns out to be gorgeous rainbow we musth've been towing around for quite some time without ever knowing it was on.....

![]() they have in the past, theres a study somewhere I read that had proof of holdovers, it was a big deal last spring as the state did not want to stock LH and the kneedeepclub and the LH foundation did so instead. I dont know about now and the current state of water, but there are many spots that dont get a thermocline set up in summer. I beleive they said one species of trout is better for lakes, maybe brooks? i dont recall honestly

![]() This one was on its way....build up of guanine crystals causes the silver sheen, even in the tail.....fish was 16 inches but pushing 3 lbs. Head of a 12 incher but a wide thick back and belly from eating all the herring
