Miss Belmar - Holiday weekend wrap up

Saturday morning, we searched everywhere and fishing was tough. We managed to catch one blue on the last drift of the day.

Saturday night, we fished east of the inlet. It was a very slow start but as the night went on fishing got better and better. Some ended up with one fish and high hook had 5 blues. The pool winner was Bill Davis from Philadelphia, PA with a 12 lb blue.

Sunday morning, we ran offshore on a report east of our inlet. It was good jigging on big fish all day that ranged from 8-15 lbs. The fish were moving but we were able to stay with them all day. Our pool winner was Kathy Stewart from Lititz, PA with a 15 lb blue.

Monday morning, we fished north of our inlet jigging. We had super readings and fish on top. The blues were anywhere from 4-12 lbs. Our pool winner was Nockolai Kryvenka with a 12 lb blue.

This morning, once again ran north of our inlet. There were two different area's of fish that ended up being very good blue fishing and we caught one nice keeper striper. I don't have todays pool winner and pictures yet so I will post them tomorrow.
