![]() the third in a trifecta of first time caught species for me this year is the bowfin. not much information on them for NJ, but i've found some stuff. I think i'll be trying friday at waway hoping the water temps there are still keeping the bowfin in aggressive mode rather than mid spawn.
as usual, any little experience anyone has had with them is appreciated.

![]() There is a website im going to try to find and post for you. Its all about them in jersey waters. Even maps and locations of where they were caught. Think its Bowfinhunters or something like that.

People get them on spinnerbaits burned around the weedlines next to the deep water |
