Mimi Fishin
Cold day out qtoday. I thought we had a decent bite. I got my limit and 9 shorts. Wa few of us got our limit some got less I think a few got none. Still a scratchy bite but I think it's improved from last week. Congrats to Fish&Chips nice job on the 13.5 lb pig. Nice job keeping that fish off the bottom. You and I both had good bites together today. We had to cast to finder but when we found the spot it was a consistent bite. Always a pleasure to fish with you. Kenny kept us pretty dialed in today. Thanks Kenny, Ryan and Billy a great job today. Some quality fish caught today with quality people. Way to bring in the New Year!!!!!!

Re: Mimi Fishin
Proud of you brother on getting your limit under less than favorable conditions. Looks like you are paying your dues and starting to figure out the bite and what is working and what is not. If only you can teach your brother and Shrimpy.
There still is hope for them as I still believe in Miracles |

Re: Mimi Fishin
January STARTS my tog season and today was a good start! Unfortunately Capt Cranky was not feeling well and couldnt come up for the annual event, but Jimmy in Point worked overnight and joined me
FINALLY met Joey da Fish, semi surprised Shrimpman and was happy to lend Ryan a hand on deck when needed. Only one for me today (plus a short) and certainly donated my share of lead to the sticky stuff! (Sam, check your messages!) im going again tomorrow! couple of things i learned today...... -JDF makes yummy chili -you havent prepared your bowl of JDF Chili properly unless Shrimpman has personally instructed you on the proper technique -Shrimpman gets a commission on all JDF autographs -it is warmer on the sunny side of the boat -with proper time management, i can arrive the boat, discover i left my jacket and slickers at home, go back home, get jacket and slickers and still return on time -Shrimpy has abandoned his shrimp and now pounds snails to procure bait that doesnt produce -you need to find ALL the silly string, it could FOLLOW you around all day... -Capt Kenny puts you in a position to catch BIG TOG! |
