Good first bass trip this season
Went out yesterday morning for my first trip after a 2 season hibernation mostly to shake down the boat after some work. Birds and bait all over the place. Tried casting and jigging with no bites. Ran down the beach and East away from the crowd. Put out the shad umbrellas, went on the troll and killed them. It was great until the blues showed up and tore through the shads. Nevertheless, bass in the box and home by noon. Not too bad after not having fished in 2 years.
