![]() Had the Mimi chartered on Saturday for a small group of guys targeting fluke. Great day on the water, weather was perfect and the wind provided a nice drift for the better part of the morning. Wind got a little snotty towards the end of the trip so Kenny put us over a nice piece and anchored up. We ended the day with 17 keepers and a few nice sea bass. I couldn't even say how many shorts we threw back, many just shy of the 18" mark. I got my first limit this season and got the pool with a 4.5 pounder. Kenny joined us at the rail and added a few of the sea bass to our cooler. As always, Kenny and Chris worked their butts off to put us into the fish and entertained our crew as well! See you guys in November

![]() Nice job Marc. We were fishing the same area as you guys and only had a few. Tons of shorts attacking the baits, its must have been lets feed the kids day out there. We went into the shallow and picked a few nice ones, ended a short outing with four.

![]() It was catch and release all day long with the shorts. When we anchored up, I switched to a light spinning setup and cast bucktails away from the boat. The shorts on light tackle feel like monsters and kept a majority of the group busy most of the day.
