Default Tropical Storm coming up coast?

Get your river fishing in now 'cause it may be flooding by next weekend. Close call but if it interacts with slow moving cold front, we're gonna get dumped on

.

We'll see what happens.
So far, my local forecast calls only for scattered thunder showers with a 40-60% chance of precipitation.

I like high water at most of the lakes I fish at, so I really don't mind if we do see a lot of rain from this.

My philosophy is if we we have low water, I go for cool and warmwater fish; if we have high water, its wild trout streams. Its a win-win either way for me. Helps to be flexible about which species you pursue.

Still looks like a solid 1.5 to over 2" rainfall over north jersey with tropical rains just off the coast. Good for our wild trout streams, not so much larger rivers.

River is going up about 4'. No pike fishing for the next week at least.

Do you have a link for the water level forecast? I've always used the USGS gauges for real time data, but a prediction would be nice too.
