Rahway River Park Report 4/13/14
Hit up my usual spot in Rahway/Clark. Started along the Rahway River under a few bridges. Could see the trout swimming by but none took my lures (gold inline spinner with white trailer and small jigs). A couple of guys upstream got lucky and caught 1-2.
After a couple of hours trying to entice these lazy bums and sacrificing a few lures to the fishing gods, I went up to Jackson's Pond to go after bass. Started with a TX-rig worm and switched to a Rat-L-trap, no hits. Then, I went further up to Bloodgood's ponds, and no hits either. All in all, about 3-4 hours on the Rahway River and got totally skunked. Most be doing something wrong. Last edited by gspdark1; 04-14-2014 at 04:57 PM.. |

Re: Rahway River Park Report 4/13/14
The river is loaded with Trout. Try drifting worms or fatheads for those Browns. Lower RR is a brown trout PARADISE!!! Stacked up like cordwood in certain areas!
