We rounded the hook this morning at sunrise to not as much life as we expected and jigged a few until the fleet arrived. We stayed at it hard till about 9. Decided to make a move north towards Coney Island and it payed off. We were one of 5 boats in the vicinity and we all caught fish non stop till about 2pm 3-4 on at a time. We got into a trolling pattern with the other boats that could resemble the Rockettes no crossed lines no one in each others way (props to the other boats). We all smoked them for hours. On our way back to Lockwood we passed Roamers and whack BIRDS! again jigged a few there until other boats arrived then headed west again. 10 minutes into the ride and more birds around old orchard. We stopped the boat thats when we realized the day we had we all looked at each other and laughed because we were all to tired to reel in another so we headed to the barn. We kept 4 fish one each for the table. If I had to guess 50-60 on the day with half being shorts. Great job to the guys on the boat!
