![]() Hit the Passaic yesterday, and surprisingly the river conditions weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be. Water was a tad fast and stained, but managed to pick up one nice smallie at an even 3lbs. Also came across tjc76 out there as well. Maybe well be able to get back into those smallie numbers again soon TJ haha. Yesterday just seemed like a lot of short strikes and swings and misses (kinda reminds me of Arod).

![]() East of. Water level isn't too high where I was, stained pretty good, but none the less fishable. Today should be in pretty good shape in the event we don't get more rain.

![]() I've fished the Passaic for smallies with mixed results in the past, most of my success has been on soft plastics. have they been hitting moving baits lately or is slow roll still the way to go?

![]() Pleasure to meet you BassPilot. I am sure we will be running into each other frequently at that spot. Next time I will be sure not to catch a fish on the first cast. It is the curse of all curses.
