Default SB and local creek Last Eve Hunterdon

Fished the confluence force main impoundment at Hamden in HC but didn't get any bites or at a local creek with bait and RT's. My new rod broke for no reason halfway between the tip top eye and the second eye. I was rigging it when this happened. Hope cabelas or falcon will cover it under warrantee. Bought USA made rod at a premium. Only used around 5 times and I don't abuse my stuff. Still have my UL uglt stick 5 Ft 6" that I have had for 20 or more years I can use.

Falcons are cheap rods. I had one break on me in much the same way. Cabela's is usually pretty good about returns. Get a different brand with the refund.

Sorry you had a crappy day, but that's fishing sometimes. It just means you're due for a lunker soon.
