snap swivels
lard,
It looked like on the last fish of the upper delaware river video (littlemouth on golden spinner) that you used a snap swivel, if so wanted to hear peoples opinions on swivelling or not. have always thought a swivel on a minnow would help it swim more naturally but can't find the ball bearing (alnico?) in the small size. for those who have not seen lards youtube channel he's 'mrlardalmighty' and the videos are excellent. |

Re: snap swivels
I use them for certain things, I use a very small snap for bass fishing with lures because it makes lure changing a lot quicker. I use T-Turn three way swivels for my three way rigs, thanks to my buddy JimmyThe Greek who showed them to me they work excellent and some times i use snap swivels depending on the type of fishing I'm doing But def recommend using a quality coast lock style. Not to jinx myself but never lost a fish due to a snap if use a quality one is used properly. Always use a black one and as small as possible. Good ones are pricey but you always get what you pay for and You know the time you use a el cheapo will be the time you hook up with a monster!
