With all this rain, does anyone know if the Big D is a muddied mess right now? Would it be worth fishing this wknd?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is going to bump up a little. Which is good, as it is very low, & fishin' has been very slow,,,,,for me, anyway. This rain will stir things up.

U need to check this site:

i was at the millstone this noon cat fishing in the rain and got 3 decent bullheads in about half an hour. water was high and muddy, flowing fast. 3 oz to hold bottom instead of the usual 1/2 oz. the delaware should be the same.

3.58 feet at Riegelsville NJ right now. Everybody can relax now, the D is fishable. My best big fish days have come when the water is between 4.5 and 6 feet. Water is still low, looks like a damn creek in some parts of Easton.......TIGHT LINES!!!
Cant wait for some good rain.......................................... =(

I fished the Delaware in the rain yesterday from the shore near Lambertsville and the water wasn't murky while I was there at all. Me and a friend caught 20 stripers in about two hours. All of the stripers we caught were babies all under 10 inches.
