Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! I fished from 7am to 9am above the waterfall at Lower Echo Lake. They dumped a bunch of trout in yesterday for the winter stocking and I was talking to a guy last night who said they were feeding as soon as the truck left. I went there with some crawlers I had in the fridge and some PowerBait I had laying around. I had the crawlers on one rod and they were getting nailed by bullheads. Probably caught close to 10 and missed a few more. Also lost a bigger fish on the crawlers that was probably a trout. The PowerBait only got smacked 3 or 4 times, but I hooked-up once with a fish that was most likely a trout but it got off. Saw lots of fish breaking the surface, plenty of signs of life. A few people around me caught a few trout and I saw one guy land 3 nice fish on a spinner. I have probably 100 spinners and Phoebe's and every single one of them are neatly organized in a utility box that I left on my living room floor.

Anyhow, it was a fun morning. Lots of action even though the intended species did not come to hand. The bullheads are fun on a UL.
