![]() After fishing last evening I expected to find the river a little clearer and down a bit. What a shock! It rained terribly somewhere up north. Not by me in Middllesex County. The river is a mudhole. This was the worse I've seen it. Mudhole and two feet higher than last evening. Tried fishing for an hour. Not surprising, not even a hit. It'll be four days until it's fishable. Go somewhere else.

![]() Coming back from the Yankee game last night it was really coming down in buckets when I reached the Secaucus area on the Turnpike. Steady rain most of the ride home on 78 too.
At the time I did think the river wouldn't be any better for it. ![]()
