Musky 5-22-2011, Great time, lots of fish..

Hit the Musky today around 9 this morning. It was great had the river to myself. The water was a bit high and moving fast! I tried some lures, but started to get action once I switched over to powerbait. Tried a few different colors, but yellow seemed to work best today. Ended the day around 12:30 and had well over a dozen fish. Mostly rainbows with a few brookies, nothing big but did have one nice fat rainbow around 14 inches. All released for another day.

Met Wilson today there (it was great to meet you!), who told me that he did well down at the SB. Glad I decided to hit the river today and give the ocean a break. I forget how fun and peaceful it can be in the river. Hope to be back soon.
