Purchased these a year ago after the second time had small seepage in left boot but then much too my surprise used them over an over again and the seepage never happened again.... Not bad for the price just had to add gel insoles for a lil cushion for my feet... Overall found them to be decent waders and plus they are on sale

Waders are only as good as the fisherman in them. Use them until you can't patch them anymore. They are fine!

I guess I must have got a bad batch of Pro Line Breathables.... cause I've been using them Spring, Summer and Fall, for the past 4 seasons and they've held up fine! (knock on wood) hahaha ... Once in a blue moon, I get lucky!!

LL Beam. They last years. Are fully guaranteed. Great quality. You can go to the store near Allentown, Pa. somewhere. Like Andy stated. You buy junk for cheap, you get junk. Who needs the aggravation when you are suppose to be having fun.

I think Cuz was imbibing some Beam....Jim that is
LL BEAN!

Waders come in many varieties and styles and are made from a number of materials. Boot foot, stocking foot, full chest, waist highs, also hip boots.

Buy the ones that feel good and spend as much as you can afford.
A road trip to Cabelas or LL Bean may be a good idea, so you can try them all on.
Don't buy pink ones

Thumbs up Re: Waders

Joe,

Just bought a pair of LL Bean Emerger bootfoot breathables after I went thru two pairs of waders in three days. My old Kobuks which were in there 5th season called it qiuts & my Hodgman "NEW" backup boots let go immediately !
I like bootfoots for the ease of on -off deal, so ended up w/ the above.
Features I look for in bootfoots:
Non skid bootoms - good ones, since I wade rough water at times! The squid like suction cups on their bottoms hold very well in this enviroment
A fit that allows free movement but not baggy
Breathable w/ reinforcements around knee area
Light but enough good quality matereial to withstand, normal snags & breyers etc
Boot itself that has support , I've seen some that the bootfoots that are like sponges, if you wade as musch as I do your inviting a ankle -leg injury w/o proper boot support, never mind a dunking
Company that stands behind product with a reasobnable guarantee!!
Not the cheapest but I fish trout too much to cut corners ,after wearing these a few trips they equal my old Kobuks in comfort ,not lets see how they last!! Tell you in a few years!!
