Default Bingo Blackfish and Stripers

Me and Jarhed Arty jumped on the Bingo open boat yesterday 12/27.

We moved around to several different drops but Blackfishing was on the slow side. I had a few shorts and 1 keeper, Art had some shorts and there we some other keepers and shorts spread throughout the boat.

Captain Jim didn't linger in one spot too long trying to locate a bite. Seemed like as soon as we'd arrive at a different spot we'd get bit, it would shut off, we'd move or re adjust and repeat. We never really got them going in any one spot so I was grateful for Captain Jim's efforts to move us around and scratch up what we could.

With an hour and a half left Jim was told of a good Striper bite going on so he asked our crew if we wanted to go get some Stripers and man did we get into them. Jeremy switched us all over and we limited out the boat in short order, went into release mode with many guys getting 5 plus fish ORL.

Our mate Jeremy was spot on and was right there whenever you needed him. Hooting and hollering running around the deck when the Striper mayhem peaked along with a great attitude with a joke or story to keep us entertained when it was slow.

Thanks Jim and Jeremy for a great day on the water and the effort you put in.

You forgot about the return to the dock first thing. And the fabulous sunrise. That flurry of striper action made the day worthwhile.
