Closure Notice
At this time, the Round Valley boat ramp is extremely icy and is closed until further notice due to these hazardous conditions.

An update will be sent when the ramp reopens.

Should be news to many!!! Its a state park with open water...why not plow it a little? Can it really be easier to close and enforce it?? Maybe

I was trying to figure out the reason for closure. Why not plow it, clear it. Seems like a better solution than just to close it until it thaws. I guess they figure no boater with the current weather conditions.
